Welcome to College of Nursing, Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences, under the aegis of Shiromani Gurudwara Prabhandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar.

It gives me immense pleasure and great pride to do my services for this blessed institute founded under the name of 4th Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Ram das Ji.

Nursing profession has come a long way from serving to maintenance of health standards, advances in education and research. Nursing education is much more vital component of health care in which nurses are challenged to provide preventive, promotive, rehabilitative and evidence based care to the sick and needy people.

Nursing profession encompasses caring, humanity, scientific, systemic capacity to manage complex situations in meeting the demands of patients from screening to the recovery. Nurses require patience, dedication, extensive knowledge and great responsibility to serve culturally competent care in all aspactes of health care.

Our aim is to provide education and practice for the nursing students to maintain the health care standards. We believe that nursing students are accountable for quality nursing practice thus need to be trained with excellence and discipline by qualified and experienced faculty. We are passionate about inspiring and motivating the students with love and care and to provide best of our abilities. We strongly believe that our students will emerge as competent nursing professionals in in their academic and career pursuits.

I thank the management for their constant effort in supporting the institute by providing all the resources and professionally qualified faculty to develop and provide world class nursing education and practice.
